Hosted on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, The Next 3 Billion is the premiere U.S. convening dedicated to connecting the unconnected.
More than 3 billion people lack access to the internet. They live mostly in the remote areas of low- and middle-income countries and are largely excluded from the global financial system, educational opportunities and basic healthcare. Millions do not have bank accounts, access to electricity or any form of identification.
Collectively, they represent one of the most untapped social and economic opportunities of our time. Unlocking this potential requires a new model for cooperation between global leaders in diverging domains across government, technology, finance, health, education, cybersecurity, and energy.
Venue
The Next 3 Billion Summit will take place at the Upper East Side's luxury landmark hotel, The Pierre. Breakfast and lunch will be served onsite for all attendees.

A full day of live journalism will showcase global leaders, coming together for on-the-record conversations about how to unlock one of the biggest social and economic opportunities of our time: connecting the unconnected.
The Next 3 Billion Summit is designed for senior, forward-thinking leaders shaping the global economy. Attendees include senior public and private sector executives, representatives from civil society organizations, academics and media.
Attendees are encouraged to stay for the whole program, however attendee check-in will be available throughout the event.
The Next 3 Billion Summit will be live streamed for those not in New York City. To access the live stream link, please select 'virtual live stream' when registering your RSVP.
We will not be accepting day of event registration. Please register in advance to secure your badge.
